Robert P. Maxey
AttorneyHailing from Crystal Lake, Illinois, Robert earned his B.A. in Political Science and International Relations with minors in History and Philosophy from the University of Iowa in 2015. As an undergraduate, he participated in the UI Honors Program and was active in Student Government. Robert also gained valuable experience through internships, including working as a Legal Intern at Marzulla Law in Washington, D.C., and as a Legislative Intern for State Representative Jack D. Franks.
Robert then earned his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2018. While in law school, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Brief Writing and made the Dean's List. He was also active in the American Constitutional Society. His law school internships included serving as Campaign Coordinator for Jack D. Franks for McHenry County Board Chairman, Deputy Field Director for J.B. Pritzker for Governor, Policy Advisor for the Government of McHenry County, and Law Clerk at Franks, Gerkin & McKenna P.C.
Robert now brings his experience and passion for client advocacy to Mueller, Schmidt, Mulholland & Cooling, where he is dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation.
